close-up-face-downSummit Support equipment is delivered nationwide. You can rent the equipment for one week to over a month. The cost of the rental decreases weekly. We can also organise delivery of the equipment at short notice, if you require surgery immediately, or haven’t had time to plan. Once you know your surgery date, call us and we can assist you in planning for the required face down posturing time. Our helpful staff are well trained and ready to assist you with your inquiry.

What is included in a Summit Support Rental

When you rent Summit Support equipment the following items are included:

  • Summit Support Recovery Chair with built in table
  • Summit Support Sleep Support
  • 2-way angled mirror: this allows you to see people when they speak to you, or watch TV or DVDs
  • Face cushion for reading glasses
  • Free phone support: for all of those questions you forgot to ask
  • Exercise DVD
  • Full Delivery/Pick Up and Fitting service: this is very important, as it is only by having the chair professionally fitted to your requirements that you will be sure in the knowledge that you will not be placing any strain on your back or neck muscles.

If you have private health insurance, 100% rebates available with most private health funds and government agencies (rebates for rental hire cost were pioneered by Summit Support innovator: Theodore Kavieris to assist patients with recovery). We are happy to help you with these rebates if needed.

We believe it is very important that trained staff custom fit you to the Recovery Support Chair and Bed Support. Not being in the correct position, even by a few degrees can lead to severe discomfort and may compromise the surgery outcome.

Summit Support can deliver and install the Support Chair and Bed Face Cradle on the day of your surgery, please call us: 1300 133 116 once you know the date of your surgery to make a booking and confirm a time to deliver and custom fit the Summit Support equipment for your individual needs. Once your face down posturing is completed, our staff will pack the equipment up and take it away, making it hassle free for you.
